Jonathan E. Buzzell, M.D.

JonathanBuzzellDr. Buzzell is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in shoulder reconstruction, shoulder replacement, and sporting injuries of the shoulder girdle. He graduated from the Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha and completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. Dr. Buzzell also completed the W.B. Carrell Clinic Shoulder Fellowship in Dallas, TX, before moving back to Omaha.

Dr. Buzzell has authored and published several articles and book chapters that discuss the diagnosis and treatment of rotator cuff tears and shoulder arthritis. He is one of the team orthopedic specialists for the UNO Mavericks, Burke High School, and the Justin Boot Sports Medicine Program which provides specialty care for the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association across the United States.

Dr. Buzzell's clinical team includes his physician assistant, Cara Henderson, and his nurse, Michelle.
