Dr. Neumann completed a fellowship in adult reconstructive surgery in Columbus, Ohio, at  Joint Implant Surgery. He has authored numerous presentations and publications covering all aspects of injured joints. Dr. Neumann and Dr. Brown have co-edited Orthopedic Secrets, 3rd edition, published by Hanley and Belfus, 2005.

Dr. Neumann was born and raised in Omaha and attended the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He is one of the team orthopaedic specialists for the University of Nebraska at Omaha and Dana College. 

Certified with the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Dr. Neumann lectures on many topics relating to knee and hip replacements, joint injuries, arthritis, surgical techniques, treatment and prevention. His professional affiliations include membership of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American College of Sports Medicine, and Mid-America Orthopaedic Society.
