December 2012

OrthoWest will be closing early on Friday, December 14th for our annual holiday party. The office will be open between 8am and 3pm. 

We will be closed for business on Monday, December 24th (Christmas eve) and Tuesday, December 25th (Christmas Day).

OrthoWest will be open from 8:00am until 3:00pm on Monday, December 31st (New Year's Eve) but we will be closed on Tuesday, January 1 (New Year's Day).

January 2012

Beginning in January, 2012, OrthoWest will be charging a flat fee of $20 for the completion of Disability Forms.  For more information please see our “Financial Policy” under either PATIENT FORMS or FINANCIAL SERVICES – INSURANCE & COPAY INFORMATION.

OrthoWest in cooperation with Dr’s Jim and Kari Galyen will begin outreach at a new clinic in Norfolk starting in January, 2012.  Sunny Meadow Medical Clinic is the new medical office space for Dr. Jim and Dr. Kari Galyen.  The Galyens have invited OrthoWest physicians, Dr. Jonathan Buzzell and Dr. Ryan Arnold, to continue their Norfolk practice in their newly remodeled space at 305 N. 37th Street in Norfolk.  The physicians at OrthoWest appreciate the support they have received from patients in and around Norfolk and look forward to the new relationship with the Galyens at Sunny Meadow Medical Clinic.

Friday Night Sports Injury Clinic
The Nebraska Orthopaedic Hospital is again sponsoring their Friday Night Sports Injury Clinic from 9pm to 11pm every Friday evening from August 26th through October 28th at the Nebraska Orthopaedic Hospital (map).  Free injury evaluation for all ATHLETES by an orthopaedic surgeon specially trained in sports medicine.
