Patient Education Center

The physicians and staff at OrthoWest are committed to patient education as part of an ongoing effort to provide you the highest quality of orthopaedic care. Patient education is an integral part of our treatment program, and we make sure that you, as a patient, are fully aware of your orthopaedic condition–including diagnosis and all treatment options. If your condition requires surgery, we want you to be able to make an informed decision based on complete knowledge of your condition and other treatment options.

Our clinical staff will help you obtain a better understanding of your treatment and recovery process with the aid of brochures, models, and pictures. These are great sources of information regarding your orthopaedic condition, inpatient versus outpatient surgery, return to work or play, physical therapy, and home care.

Our professional staff is also available to discuss and answer any questions regarding orthopaedics in relation to the community, school, and industry.
